    One of the best things about running a business like ours is interacting with customers. While most of the time a self-storage customer might be in the middle of a house move and might be slightly stressed, we like to help out as much as we can by taking all the moving and storage stress out of it.

    The last few months have been a very stressful time for everyone and throughout this time we have remained open. During the major lockdown we have had some customers that needed storage as they were in the middle of a house move and couldn’t move into their new house due to restrictions in place.

    We have sold many boxes to customers who were finally decluttering their house now that they were spending so much time at home. We also had lots of customers taking small unit spaces to take some items of out their house to facilitate space for a home office.

    While we agree this time has been a huge burden on us, we also loved the sense of community spirit around and that feeling that we were all looking out of one another.

    During this period, we have had some wonderful google reviews and would like to thank the customers who took the time out to write something nice about our facility or simply rate our business.

THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE Personal information provided by you In the course of operating our self-storage business, we collect personal information when you provide it to us, such as your name, postal address, eircode, email address, phone numbers, date of birth, payment details, proof of identity. We also collect personal information from you if you apply for a job with us or work for us for any period of time. In this context, personal information we gather may include: contact details, financial and payment details, details of education, qualifications and skills, marital status, nationality, PPS number, job title, and CV. Personal information about other individuals If you give us information on behalf of someone else as an alternate contact, referee or next of kin, you confirm that the other person has agreed that you can: • give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of his/her personal data; • receive on his/her behalf any data protection notices; and Sensitive personal information We will not usually ask you to provide sensitive personal information. We will only ask you to provide sensitive personal information if we need to for a specific reason, for example, if we believe you are having difficulty dealing with your account due to illness. We will use technical measures to safeguard your personal data, for example: • access to your storage unit is controlled by key pad code which is unique to our Senior Staff and you • we store your personal data on secure servers; and • payment details are encrypted on the secure server and cloud back up system. While we will use all reasonable efforts to keep your personal data safe, you acknowledge that the use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that is transferred from you or to you via the internet.
